Detroit River Lighthouse Day Sail

After a long season of training for the Michigan Challenge in the Cruiser (stay tuned for a blog on that), Sorcerer has been somewhat neglected. We took her out for a spin around the Detroit River Lighthouse yesterday for a reminder of what it is like to go on a relaxing sail with a picnic. It was a hot one, so we finished by anchoring, jumping in, and scrubbing her hull. The dredger was out in the shipping channel, which was a fun thing to see. Winds SE 10 kts, 1-3 ft waves made for a perfect Sorcerer day sail!
